ARC Raiders has finally entered its final week of season 3 trials, and all raiders will face the challenge of Fireflies. If you want to achieve a decent score in this final week, explore the best ways to challenge Fireflies with IGGM!
Best Map Condition
Actually, the effectiveness of each map condition varies. IGGM recommends Buried City as the first map choice and Night Raid as the map condition.
Night Raid is the most effective, and combined with Buried City, it’s widely considered the best route for farming ARC Raiders blueprints and valuable loot. This means you can farm high-value loot while simultaneously farming Fireflies. Killing two birds with one stone.

The key location is the rooftop of Santa Maria. Remember to bring a Zipline, as you’ll need it to reach the highest point for a wider field of view, overlooking most of the spawning areas.
Recommended Loadouts
In the trials, it’s recommended that players choose Jupiter with 100 durability as their primary weapon, which can last for approximately 5 Energy Clips. Its power is extremely high, capable of penetrating armor. However, Jupiter’s ranged damage is somewhat reduced, so you need to aim for the center.
It’s also best to carry Renegade IV as a backup weapon, as it’s well-suited for close to mid-range combat and has minimal bullet drop.
For reconnaissance tools, Osprey IV or Binoculars are both good options, allowing you to zoom in and mark ARC flying enemies.
Of course, Seeker Grenade is also essential and should be carried in large quantities; don’t regret not bringing enough later in the game.
Photoelectric Cloak is a lifesaver; if you encounter enemies in a bad situation, you can use it to escape.
Additionally, you’ll need some defensive gear, tools, and medical supplies, such as a Barricade Kit, Zipline, and Shield Recharger. Remember to place a Barricade Kit on the roof beforehand.
Core Gameplay
In this final week’s trial, we need to eliminate all flying ARC enemies. This includes not only Fireflies but also Hornets and Wasps. Only in this way can we accelerate the respawn cycle and allow more Fireflies to appear.
Players need to stay atop Santa Maria rooftop and use Osprey to scan the area below. You can identify the type by pinging flying targets. If the ping marker shifts, it’s usually a Firefly.
When shooting, try to aim for the center of the enemy’s body, avoiding the wings, otherwise Firefly will land directly, wasting a kill opportunity.
Jupiter we carry requires a short recharge. At long range, you may need to finish off enemies, for example, by firing an Osprey first, then using Jupiter to finish them off.
About ten minutes into the game, the spawn rate will increase significantly, with Fireflies spawning in large numbers. This is the peak period for your Trial score. However, Rocketeers will be your biggest threat.
Fortunately, Rocketeers aren’t very good at finding enemies. If a Rocketeer appears and you can’t kill it quickly, you can use your Photoelectric Cloak to evacuate.
Another factor in the game is the uncertainty of whether other raiders are friendly. They might try to steal your kills or even threaten your life, so if necessary, explain that you’re just doing a quest and leave quickly.
The timing of your evacuation is also crucial. Remember to pay attention to the countdown and Arc Orbiter prompts. IGGM recommends starting to run towards the evacuation point in the last 2-3 minutes. If your shield breaks or you run out of supplies, evacuate immediately.
No matter how much damage you deal in a raid, if you fail to evacuate successfully, your Trial score will be reset to zero. If you also found some ARC Raiders blueprints in this raid, especially rare gear like the Anvil and Venator, then congratulations, you’ve really hit the jackpot.
Common Problems and Precautions
As mentioned before, Jupiter’s damage drop-off is significant at long range, so you may need to switch to Renegade or get closer to fire.
Don’t ignore Wasps and Hornets in the game; they consume spawn points, and only by clearing them all can you increase the number of Fireflies we need. If you have reliable teammates, this becomes much easier. Your trial will be much more efficient.
You are easily surrounded while reloading, so be sure to find cover beforehand or use Seeker Grenades to suppress the enemy.
Finally, remember not to rely entirely on Osprey; Renegade will be more efficient in many situations.
If you follow the above methods to enter the map and start the trial, you can get at least 24,000 points. This score has room for improvement.
If your circumstances allow, bring better weapons, find reliable teammates, and then 30,000 points will no longer be impossible. You can buy cheap ARC Raiders blueprints from IGGM.com to craft epic weapons you don’t already own. It’s renowned in ARC Raiders trading market for its 5-minute delivery and low prices.
